Produced by Fraser-Volpe, the MARS (Multi-Purpose Aiming Reflex Sight) combines the advantages of a quick-reaction red-dot sight with a user-controlled aiming laser. MARS also includes a 1x magnification, sight exit aperture at 25 mm, a 0.3-meter Rad (about 1-inch at 100 meters) reflex dot diameter and <0.2-meter Rad at infinity. Its dot intensity can be controlled to 5 different positions: off, high, medium, low and very low.
Features of the MARS include:
Reflex sight, solid prism not holographic
Quick release mount on Picatinny rail
Easy zeroing of Reflex Sight and Laser with single adjustment
Coated optics without glare or corona affect in the sight window
Undetectable aiming dot with NVGs from the front
Replaces multiple “bolt on” components
